Our sukuma wiki (kale) is growing quite quickly thanks to our tilapia friends below the grow bed. Our plants are starting to shoot up, and down if you count the carrots, while our fish are getting noticeably larger as well. It seems that our system is starting to stabilize and now requires minimum daily attention. No watering, no weeding, and no fertilizing. Only feeding the fish daily and a weekly water test.
Speaking of maintenance levels I found out the hard way that if you don’t water tomato seedlings for one day in Lodwar they all die! So we started the trays over about one week ago and starting them over yet again! I’m hoping these tomatoes taste REALLY good.

Hi Eric! Great to hear that the system is running so nicely! Sorry about the loss of some plants, but as they say…live and learn. Snowing here again today. We have had snow on the ground now for over a week and a half. Ready for spring! Still praying for you and for Kenya as well. Hope things there continue to be peaceful. Proud of you, Son! Dad
